Why you need a stocking donner for compression stockings

Compression stockings work because they fit well. If you wear compression and have recently found it harder to bend down or pull the fabric up with force, this device for putting on compression stockings turns that morning struggle into something automatic.

The stockings aren't complicated: it's just that your body is asking for more comfortable solutions.

How to use the stocking aid, step by step

  1. Sit on the edge of the bed or on a stable chair.
  2. Place the stocking on the metal frame of the aid (it hooks easily onto the ring).
  3. Slide your foot through the centre of the ring, as if you were putting on a shoe.
  4. Pull the handles up gradually: the sliding handles draw the stocking up over your ankle and calf.
  5. Remove the aid once the stocking reaches your knee.
  6. Adjust if you notice any creases (although if you have chosen the right size of Calcetinos, there shouldn't be any).

Real time: 30 seconds.

  • A metal frame that withstands real compression

Plastic stocking donners for compression stockings bend with strong compression. This one has a metal frame that withstands the tension of the fabric without deforming, even with compression of 20-30 mmHg.

  • Retractable handles (smart design)

Classic aids for putting on compression stockings take up half a wardrobe. The handles on this one fold away: you can store it upright behind a door or next to the bed. It is also detachable, so you can take it travelling.

  • Carefully studied anatomical angle

The frame is tilted to respect the natural movement of the foot. You don't have to force awkward positions: you slip your foot in and pull up in one smooth movement.

It works even if you have oedema, wide feet or morning swelling. The ring doesn't squeeze as you slip your foot in.

People with reduced mobility

Arthritis, osteoarthritis, back, hip or knee problems. Any limitation that makes it hard to bend down or keep your balance when getting dressed.
